DO I HAVE TO BE A DIETITIAN TO TAKE THIS COURSE?
No way! SEO is applicable to all online business owners and bloggers. However, most of the examples used in the course are of dietitians and food or wellness bloggers.
SHOULD I ALREADY HAVE A BLOG OR WEBSITE BEFORE JOINING?
While not required, it would definitely help! You’ll get results the fastest if you have a website to implement the strategies on, but you can totally learn before doing if that is a better fit for you. Everyone is welcome!
IS THIS A GOOD FIT FOR PRIVATE PRACTICE DIETITIANS?
If you wish to increase the number of people reaching your site via search engines, then this is the course for you! What you do with that traffic once you have it is up to you (book 1:1 clients, sell courses, earn ad revenue, etc.)
DO I HAVE TO USE WORDPRESS TO GET VALUE OUT OF THE COURSE?
Most of the strategies (keyword research, writing great content, building backlinks, boosting your authority, etc.). apply to all website platforms. Tutorials are provided for WordPress, Squarespace, and Wix.
However, some recommended tools are only available for WordPress. Whenever possible, workarounds are given for Squarespace and Wix.
If you decide to switch to WordPress, I can point you to resources on how to do so!
IS THIS ACTIONABLE ADVICE?
Yes!!! This is NOT just cursory advice. You will receive actionable, step by step tutorials to create EPIC blog content and get more visitors to your website. Plus, if you get stuck or have questions, I’m always available in the Facebook group.
HOW MUCH TIME DOES IT TAKE TO COMPLETE THE COURSE?
The course is self-paced, so it’s entirely up to you, but each of the 6 lessons has 2-4 hours of content.
HOW IS THE COURSE STRUCTURED?
Once you have paid, you will have access to the course to go through at your own pace.
There are 6 lessons total, each containing 2-4 hours of tutorials (each video is typically less than 15 minutes each).
The videos are narrated slideshow presentations and screenshares of myself demonstrating tools or programs. Slides are also available for printing and taking notes.
Captions are offered and there is a mega list of recommended resources, making it easy to find what you are looking for. Video content is not available for download, so you must be connected to the internet or use cell data to watch the lessons.
Live Office Hour calls take place on the first Wednesday of each month, from 10am to 11am Pacific via Zoom.
This is where you can ask questions and get help/feedback from Erica. If you cannot make the live office hours, you can submit questions in advance and watch the recorded calls afterward. You can ask questions at any time within the private Facebook community as well.
HOW LONG WILL I HAVE ACCESS TO THE CONTENT?
Forever! Once you have paid in full, you will have access to the material and any future versions for as long as they exist.
WILL I HAVE DIRECT ACCESS TO ERICA?
In a group setting, yes! Erica is always available in the private Facebook community to answer member questions. She also holds monthly office hours via video chat to answer questions. Email support is not available at this time.
ARE THERE CEUS AVAILABLE?
