    It’s very similar in squarespace, you just insert an image block wherever you want an image to appear – https://support.squarespace.com/hc/en-us/articles/205814528-Image-blocks

    Generally speaking, don’t add an image unless it adds true value to the post and the reader. Don’t just sprinkle in a stock image because it’s pretty, for example.

    Use photos that illustrate what you’re talking about, show you doing something, using a product, an infographic that summarizes something you said in the body of the post, etc. (obviously the specifics depends on whatever you’re writing about.)

    If you are looking for a stock photo for something, you can check out unsplash or pexels (free) or depositphotos if you want to purchase a photo and know for certain you have the legal rights to use it in your content.
