    There’s a million and one ways you could set this up, so do whatever works best for your business!

    I like how the GROW forms work (especially the spotlight subscribe forms), but I actually don’t think that their solution to GDPR is legal unless the main thing you’re asking people to opt into is your newsletter… soooo that kinda sketched me out.

    They force people to click the box to consent to receive emails in order to submit the form, which, from my understanding, is not allowed under GDPR. (Again, unless all you’re asking people to do is to “join a newsletter”, but it doesn’t work for any other type of opt-in.)

    And yeah, I agree, I don’t love the CTA to sign up for grow, from a user-experience standpoint either.

    I decided to just stick with ConvertKit for now and in the future, I plan to start using a tool called RightMessage for more advanced surveying and segmentation during opt-ins.
