You might not need to create a separate section on your website if they’re interested in the same things.
For example, when I had my functional nutrition website and membership, there were a good number of laypeople reading, subscribing to our email list, and joining the membership just because they loved to learn about nutrition. That’s totally fine!
What would be different about the way you’re creating blog content for a practitioner vs lay person? If the answer is, not much, then I wouldn’t worry about segmenting yet…
…but as your audience grows, you could collect info on whether they are a practitioner or layperson when they join your email list and customize specific pieces of your marketing emails (like you how describe the offer, for example), based on whether they are a practitioner or not. But the payoff for the time invested probably won’t be worth it until your audience is larger.
I plan to teach about this next year (beginning of 2025)!
