You can add an option for people to just join the newsletter, but it’s not a very compelling offer for most people.

You’ll likely find that most of your list growth will come through your lead magnets, not a generic “join the newsletter” form. But you can always test it out, check the stats after 6 months, and decide if it’s worth keeping that form on your site.
