Hi Michelle! I took a class to design my website. It took awhile (I had absolutely NO experience with a website other than using one but my instructor was very helpful for non-techie people). It has been several years, so it is ready for an update, but I am SO glad I learned how to do it myself. Now when something needs to be added, or changed or even just a new format for a blog post, I can do it myself. Building your own website is not for everyone but it did save me money and I don’t need anyone else to do things for me. If I were starting this today I would take Whitney Baseson’s class and pay for them to do much of the tech and then you learn how to do from them. Let me know if you want other details.
