Everything here runs on my REPS+ Framework: Research, Execute, Promote, and Stand Out… upgraded for how search works NOW, where Google ranks pages AND AI assembles answers.
The sections below walk you through it in order. Foundation first, then the REPS, then the “+” Feedback loop, with the bonus Revenue Track at the end to turn visibility into income.
Where do I start? Section 1. Yes, you. 👇
Everyone starts with the Foundation… ESPECIALLY if you’ve been blogging for years, honestly. The audits almost always turn up something: analytics half-installed, technical issues hiding your site from the AI systems, security gaps. From there, just work your way down the page.
(No website yet? Build yours first with my free Website In A Weekend course, then come back and start right here.)
And as always, if you have questions, post them in the private community and I’m happy to help.

[Section 1] Foundation: Your Home Base, Measurement & Technical Health
The Foundation comes BEFORE the REPS for a reason.
Your website is the one piece of internet real estate you actually own. And in AI search, technical health is no longer just a nice-to-have. A site that’s too slow or blocked is simply invisible to the systems assembling answers… no matter how good the content is. The good news? These are some of the fastest, most measurable wins in the whole membership, and none of them require writing a word of content.
In this section, you’ll:
✅ Install and configure Google Analytics and Google Search Console, so you can see exactly who’s finding you and how.
✅ Fine-tune your technical SEO so search engines AND answer engines can reach, read, and trust your content.
✅ Run the site speed audit. Speed matters even MORE to AI systems than it did to Google… a slow site gets skipped.
✅ Lock down your website security to protect the asset you’ve built.
👉 This is everyone’s starting point, brand-new members and veteran bloggers alike. (No website yet? Build yours first with my free Website In A Weekend course, then come back.)
👉 Website been up for a while? Don’t skip this section! A LOT has changed and these lessons/audits will show you exactly what needs attention.
[Checkpoint] Before moving on, you should have a live website (your home base), analytics tracking your performance, and nothing technical standing between your content and the systems trying to read it.

[Section 2] Research: Decide What To Create
Research is how you figure out what to create BEFORE you spend a week writing it.
In this section, you’ll:
✅ Map how your content, offers, and customer journey tie together into revenue.
✅ Fill your idea bank with topics that attract ideal customers, not just random eyeballs.
✅ Vet every idea before it earns a spot on your calendar: can you win it, and what can you add that only YOU can supply?
✅ (Optional) Grab my easy recipe keyword database if you’re a food blogger.
Niche feeling shaky? Read through my Nail Your Niche Framework and accompanying workbook to gain clarity before moving on.
Not sure how to start monetizing your online business? Watch the Blog to Brand Brainstorm and take the Profit Path Quiz.
[Checkpoint] Before moving on, you should have a clear line from your content to your revenue… plus a bank of vetted content ideas, each one with a clear reason it deserves YOUR version instead of the 50 that already exist.
[SECTION 3] Execute: Create Content That Gets Found (and Cited)
This is the heart of the membership. Execute is where you actually create the content… structured so it earns the Google ranking AND gets pulled into AI answers.
The big shift: AI doesn’t grab whole pages, it lifts individual passages. Every section of your post is auditioning on its own. Clear headings, answer-first writing, and paragraphs that stand on their own help you get chosen… and as a bonus, they’re easier for skimming humans on their phones, too.
In this section, you’ll:
✅ Structure and write blog posts that rank AND get cited.
✅ Follow my competitive content frameworks to build something better than what’s already winning.
✅ Use the blogging checklist so every post ships with the full optimization treatment.
✅ Keep your library fresh with the Quarterly Content Update System… freshness is now a selection filter, not a bonus.
NOTE: I’m actively updating these tutorials with the AEO-era upgrades. Watch this section (and the monthly calls) for the latest.
[Checkpoint] Do a preliminary content push if your site is new. Get 12 blog posts published ASAP, so your website doesn’t look like a ghost town when people visit. Once you’ve been publishing for a year or more, circle back and implement the Quarterly Content Update System.

[SECTION 4] Promote: Get Found Everywhere
Your website is necessary, but it’s no longer sufficient. Answer engines pull from all over… YouTube, communities, other people’s sites. Promote is how you show up across the places answers get made, and how you build the reputation that makes the machines (and humans) trust you.
In this section, you’ll:
✅ Pinpoint backlink opportunities that align with your brand and actually move the needle.
✅ Earn mentions and social proof across the web… AI reads your whole reputation, not just your links.
✅ Turn blog posts into search-optimized YouTube videos (or work in reverse, turning videos into optimized blog posts).
✅ Build a repurposing system you can actually stick to. More surfaces, not more work.
👉 Start here if your content is strong but you’re only visible in one place.
One heads-up: new visibility is only worth something if you have a way to capture and nurture the people who find you. If you don’t have an email list yet, hop down to the Bonus Revenue Track at the bottom of this dashboard and set one up in Kit before you go all-in on repurposing… then come back. Otherwise you’re chasing vanity metrics, and we’re not here for that!
[Checkpoint] Before moving on, I recommend a 2-month push to build as many backlinks and mentions as you can, plus a sustainable system for repurposing your content on at least one additional platform.

[SECTION 5] Stand Out: Be the Expert AI Can’t Fake
The one thing content farms and AI publishers can’t replicate is a real human expert with real credentials. That’s you!
AI systems run health topics through extra trust filters… they’re actively looking for verifiable, credentialed experts. Stand Out is how you make your expertise impossible to miss, for readers AND for the machines deciding who to cite.
In this section, you’ll:
✅ Weave experience, expertise, authority, and trust signals (EEAT) through your website and content.
✅ Publish what only you can publish: your first-person experience, your data, your point of view. If AI could have written your post without you existing, it has no reason to cite you.
✅ Polish your user experience so your site reads as legit at a glance.
[Checkpoint] Before moving on, your website should be giving off high vibes. It demonstrates your expertise, has fabulous UX, and makes your credentials visible on every post. Nobody could mistake your site for an AI content farm.

[SECTION 6] + Feedback: Your Monthly Pulse Check
This is the + in REPS+… the something extra at the end. You’ve done the reps; this is how you know they’re working.
✅ Check your stats tracker (you built it in Savvy Analytics) for traffic, rankings, and conversions.
✅ Ask ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google your 10 most valuable audience questions. Are you in the answers? Who is?
✅ Watch for the new normal: impressions up, clicks down is the expected shape of AI search, not a failure.
✅ Not showing up somewhere? That tells you exactly which rep to revisit… and I’ll help you diagnose it on the monthly calls.
No section to binge here, just a recurring date with your numbers. Fifteen minutes a month keeps you responding to what’s actually happening instead of guessing.
[SECTION 7] Bonus Revenue Track, Part 1: Grow Your Email List
The reps get you found. This bonus track turns “found” into paid… starting with the asset that makes it all possible: your email list.
Your email list is the only audience you fully own. No algorithm decides who sees your emails, and no AI answers on your behalf in someone’s inbox. As more searches get answered before the click, the people who DO click through to you matter more than ever… and you need a way to keep them.
In this section, you’ll:
✅ Set up your email list in Kit.
✅ Create a lead magnet that attracts the right people.
✅ Design opt-in forms and landing pages that convert.
✅ Build a simple evergreen newsletter to nurture your audience on autopilot.
[Checkpoint] Before moving on, make sure you have an email list, at least one lead magnet to attract subscribers, and a plan to regularly communicate with your people via email.
*Note: always filter my recommendations through your own values. Take what resonates with you and leave what doesn’t. There is no ONE “right way” to build a business. Just an amalgamation of experiments to find what works for you!

[SECTION 8] Bonus Revenue Track, Part 2: Start Selling Digital Products
The core path gets you FOUND. This is where that visibility starts generating income.
Selling digital products doesn’t have to be overwhelming. You don’t need a giant course or months of prep. Start with something simple that solves a real problem for your audience, get it out into the world, and refine as you grow.
In this section, you’ll:
✅ Brainstorm and validate a low-ticket offer your audience actually wants.
✅ Create it quickly and efficiently (no perfectionism required).
✅ Set up your checkout so people can actually buy.
✅ Craft a sales page that sells without being “salesy.”
Right now, the trainings focus on low-ticket offers, since that’s where most Search Savvy members told me they wanted to start. If you want guidance on higher-ticket products and programs, just ask me during the OH Calls!
[Checkpoint] Before moving on, you should have a simple product created, a functional checkout in place, and a sales page that clearly communicates the value of what you’re offering.
*Note: always filter my recommendations through your own values. Take what resonates with you and leave what doesn’t. There is no ONE “right way” to build a business. Just an amalgamation of experiments to find what works for you!

[SECTION 9] Bonus Revenue Track, Part 3: Set Up Evergreen Funnels
You’ve got content getting found, an email list growing, authority building, and a product people can buy. Now connect it all with systems that sell while you sleep (or rest, or play, or take the weekend off without stress).
When someone joins your list, you don’t want them sitting in limbo. You want them to get value, build trust, and be invited to buy at the right time, in the right way… without you manually stepping in every time.
In this section, you’ll:
✅ Write warming and pitch emails that feel like you, not a robot or a scammy bro marketer.
✅ Use Deadline Funnel to create real urgency for your evergreen offers, if desired.
✅ Build automated sales funnels inside Kit to pitch your low-ticket offer to every new subscriber.
✅ Layer on advanced automations to pitch multiple offers over time, without sending the wrong thing to the wrong people.
[Checkpoint] Congratulations! At this point, you should have at least one automated funnel that welcomes new subscribers, builds trust, and makes sales without you lifting a finger. From here, you can keep playing with new offers, funnels, and optimizations.
*Note: always filter my recommendations through your own values. Take what resonates with you and leave what doesn’t. There is no ONE “right way” to build a business. Just an amalgamation of experiments to find what works for you!
