Welcome to the Search Savvy dashboard!

This dashboard walks you through building your Evergreen Infrastructure – my unique system for creating content that grows your audience, builds trust with email, and sells your stuff on autopilot.

🎯 Start with the roadmap → Click here to view a week-by-week breakdown of how to implement everything inside this membership in ONE year.

Start where you are. Skip what you’ve already done. You’re in charge here!

*Note: always filter my recommendations through your own values. Take what resonates with you and leave what doesn’t. There is no ONE “right way” to build a business. Just an amalgamation of experiments to find what works for you!

And as always, if you have questions, post them in the members-only community and I’m happy to help.

Your Pre-Foundation: Niche + Monetization Map

Building your brand is a lot like building a house.

First, pick the right “plot of land” (your niche) so you’re crystal clear on who you serve and why it matters.

Then map out your “blueprints” (monetization strategy) so that every piece of content and every offer actually moves the needle on your revenue.

In this section, you’ll:
✅ Nail down exactly who you’re talking to (and why they should care).
✅ Craft a realistic monetization strategy that ties your content, offers, and customer journey into one cohesive plan.
✅ Lay the groundwork for consistent, long-term growth without burning out.

👉 Start here if your brand feels scattered, your revenue isn’t where you want it to be, or you’re not sure how all the pieces should fit together.

[Checkpoint] Before moving on, you should have clarity on WHO you serve, WHAT problems you solve for them, and HOW you solve them (in a way that earns revenue).

Preparing the “Land”: Website Setup & Tracking Tools

Think of this as clearing and leveling your plot so you can build on solid ground. Without a proper website or the right tracking tools in place, you’ll have nowhere to publish your evergreen content and no way to measure what’s actually working.

In this section, you’ll:
✅ Set up your website (yes, you can do it in a weekend!).
✅ Install and configure Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
✅ Lay the groundwork for tracking traffic, user behavior, and overall performance, so you’re not flying blind.
✅ Fine-tune your technical SEO so search engines (and people) find you faster.
✅ Lock down your website security to protect the asset you’ve built.

👉 Start here if you don’t yet have a website, don’t have Google Analytics and Google Search Console set up yet, and don’t have a system for tracking your stats.

👉 Already have a website? Review these lessons and do the website foundations audit + website security basics to make sure everything is optimized.

[Checkpoint] Before moving on, you should have a website to publish your evergreen content on and act as the “homebase” of your business + analytics set up to track your performance.

Lay Your Foundation: Evergreen Content

This is the base of everything! Evergreen blog content is your business’s quiet workhorse, bringing in new traffic every day, so you’re not stuck hustling for visibility 24/7.

In this section, you’ll:
✅ Get crystal clear on what content to create so you’re pulling in ideal customers, not just random eyeballs.
✅ Master the art of writing (and optimizing) blog posts that rank, whether you’re sharing articles or recipes.
✅ Lay the groundwork for sustainable, long-term traffic, without the nonstop hustle.

NOTE: Updates to this section are coming soon! If you want to know my latest thoughts on the state of Google/blogging, please read this document and attend the monthly office hour calls.

👉 Start here if you want a sustainable way to attract the right people and you’re ready to turn your website into a reliable engine for growth.

👉 Been publishing for more than 1 year? Implement the Quarterly Content Update system to prioritize which content to update first.

[Checkpoint] Do a preliminary content push if your site is new. Get 12 blog posts published ASAP, so your website doesn’t look like a ghost town when people visit. Once you’ve been publishing for 1 year+, circle back and implement the Quarterly Content Update System.

The Ultimate BLOGGING CHECKLIST

Build the house: Grow Your Email list

Your content is the foundation, but your email list is the house itself. It’s where visitors become guests you can truly connect with, and where real relationships (and revenue) take shape.

This isn’t just another marketing channel… it’s the only audience you fully own, free from algorithms or platform changes. And it’s hands-down your biggest asset for creating consistent income over time.

In this section, you’ll:
✅ Set up your email list in Kit.
✅ Create a lead magnet that attracts the right people.
✅ Design opt-in forms and landing pages that convert.
✅ Build a simple evergreen newsletter to nurture your audience on autopilot.

👉 Start here if you don’t have an email list or you do, but you’re wildly inconsistent with emailing them.

[Checkpoint] Before moving on, make sure you have an email list, at least one lead magnet to attract subscribers, and a plan to regularly communicate with your people via email.

Renovations & Upgrades: Polishing your online home

Your site’s live, your content’s rolling, and your email list is growing. Now it’s time to turn “good enough” into “wow!”

Think of this like renovating a house you already live in: reinforcing the walls (trust signals), boosting curb appeal (UX and site speed), and making sure it all fits your brand’s vibe.

With these upgrades, you’ll stand out for the right reasons and keep visitors coming back for more.

In this section, you’ll:
✅ Weave trust signals throughout your website and content.
✅ Improve your user experience with navigation and design tweaks.
✅ Speed up your site for a smoother, more professional feel.

👉 Start here if you’ve got your website basics in place but know it could use a serious refresh before you scale to the next level.

[Checkpoint] Before moving on, your website should be giving off high vibes. It demonstrates your expertise and has fabulous UX. It helps you look legit and stand out against AI publishers. You can promote your website with confidence.

Stake Your Claim: Build Brand Authority

You’ve poured the foundation and spruced up your “home”… now it’s time to become the talk of your niche neighborhood!

In this section, you’ll learn how to earn relevant mentions, build genuine connections, and boost your brand’s credibility in a real, sustainable way.

In this section, you’ll:
✅ Pinpoint backlink opportunities that align with your brand and actually move the needle.
✅ Lock in strategic mentions and social proof that establish your authority and increase trust.
✅ Craft a routine of brand-building activities to build your authority all year long.

👉 Start here if you’re ready to stop blending in and start standing out as the go-to resource in your field.

[Checkpoint] Before moving on, I recommend doing a 2 month push to build as many backlinks/mentions as you can. Then put sustainable systems in place to keep your brand-building momentum going.

Let In Fresh Air: Repurpose with Intention

This is where your house starts to open up. Think windows open, fresh air flowing in… aka more visibility, more reach, and more opportunities for the right people to find you.

Repurposing lets you take the content you’ve already created and put it to work in new places, without constantly starting from scratch. It’s not about chasing every platform, it’s about being intentional and showing up where it counts.

We’re starting with YouTube (the #2 search engine behind Google), but more trainings on other platforms will be coming in the future.

In this section, you’ll:
✅ Turn blog posts into search-optimized YouTube videos.
✅ Or work in reverse to turn videos/podcasts into optimized blog posts.
✅ Set up a simple, repeatable repurposing system you can actually stick to.

👉 Start here if you’ve got evergreen content but feel like you’re not getting seen beyond one platform.

Just make sure your email list and newsletter system are set up BEFORE you dive into these lessons. Repurposing is powerful, but only if you have a way to capture and nurture the new people who find you. Otherwise, you’re just chasing vanity metrics, and we’re not here for that!

[Checkpoint] Before moving on, you should have a sustainable system for repurposing your content on at least one additional platform.

Flip the Switch: Start Selling Digital Products

You’ve built the house and fresh air is flowing in. Now it’s time to power it up. This is where your business actually starts generating income and supporting everything you’ve built.

Selling digital products doesn’t have to be overwhelming. You don’t need a giant course or months of prep. Start with something simple that solves a real problem for your audience, get it out into the world, and refine as you grow.

In this section, you’ll:
✅ Brainstorm and validate a low-ticket offer your audience actually wants.
✅ Create it quickly and efficiently (no perfectionism required).
✅ Set up your checkout so people can actually buy.
✅ Craft a sales page that sells without being “salesy.”

👉 Start here if you’ve got some attention on your work, but no clear way to turn that into income yet.

Right now, the trainings focus on low-ticket offers, since that’s where most Search Savvy members told me they wanted to start. But more guidance on creating higher-ticket products and programs is coming in the future.

[Checkpoint] Before moving on, you should have a simple product created, a functional checkout in place, and a sales page that clearly communicates the value of what you’re offering. The lights are on and you’re ready to start selling!

Value Vault: Creating Low-Cost Digital Offers

Connect the systems: Set Up Evergreen Funnels

You’ve got the whole structure built: content, an audience, email list, strong branding, and a product people can buy. Now it’s time to hook everything together with systems that make your business feel smart, seamless, and self-sustaining.

Funnels are what turn all your hard work into consistent revenue. When someone joins your list, you don’t want them sitting in limbo. You want them to get value, build trust, and be invited to buy at the right time, in the right way… without you needing to manually step in every time

In this section, you’ll:
✅ Write warming and pitch emails that feel like you, not a robot or a scammy bro marketer.
✅ Use Deadline Funnel to create real urgency for your evergreen offers, if desired.
✅ Build automated sales funnels inside Kit to pitch your low ticket offer to every new subscriber.
✅ Layer on advanced automations to pitch multiple offers over time without sending the wrong thing to the wrong people.

👉 Start here when you have at least one product and you want to build a system that sells while you sleep (or rest, or play, or take the weekend off without stress).

This is where everything you’ve built starts to feel like a real business. Not just a bunch of scattered pieces, but a true system that works even when you’re not working.

[Checkpoint] Congratulations! At this point, you should have at least one automated funnel that welcomes new subscribers, builds trust, and makes sales without you lifting a finger. Everything’s wired up, and you’ve got systems working in the background to support your growth. From here, you can continue to play with new offers, funnels, and optimizations.
